Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the AXIS/LAUNCH service at launch.axisport.de. Other services operated by AXISPORT UG are covered by the privacy policies published there.

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

AXISPORT UG
Fraunhoferstraße 3
25524 Itzehoe
Germany

Phone: +49 4821 6394707
Email: [email protected]
Data protection enquiries: [email protected]

The controller is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data.

2. Hosting and server log files

This website is operated on servers owned by AXISPORT UG in our own data centre. Data is not passed on to an external hosting provider.

When you access this website, information transmitted by your browser is automatically stored in so-called server log files:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources. It is collected on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and security of this website. Log files are deleted after 30 days at the latest, unless they are required to investigate a specific security incident.

3. Cookies and consent management

This website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device and cause no harm. We distinguish between technically necessary cookies, analytics cookies and marketing cookies.

Technically necessary cookies are required to operate the website and are set without consent on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR and Section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG. This includes in particular the cookie axis_launch_cookie_consent, which stores your choice in the cookie banner for 365 days so that you are not asked again on every visit.

All other cookies and the associated services are loaded exclusively after your explicit consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and Section 25 (1) TDDDG. No analytics or marketing scripts are executed before you consent. We use Google Consent Mode V2, which keeps all consent signals set to "denied" by default until you agree.

You may withdraw or adjust your consent at any time with effect for the future via the cookie settings. The lawfulness of processing carried out until withdrawal remains unaffected.

4. Google Analytics

Subject to your consent, this website uses the web analytics service Google Analytics 4. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Analytics enables us to record and analyse the behaviour of website visitors. In doing so, we receive usage data such as page views, time spent on the site, operating systems used and the origin of the user. Google may combine this data into a profile assigned to the respective user or their device.

Data is collected via the measurement ID G-CT3QFZLQ0G. Google Analytics 4 truncates IP addresses by default and at system level within the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before any transfer to the USA takes place. According to the provider, the full IP address is not stored.

The legal basis is exclusively your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and Section 25 (1) TDDDG. No Google scripts are loaded without your consent given via the cookie banner. The transfer of data to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission.

Details can be found in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Further information on how Google Analytics handles user data can be found at: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245.

5. Google Tag Manager

Subject to your consent, this website uses Google Tag Manager. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Tag Manager is a tool that allows us to integrate and manage tracking and statistics tools as well as other technologies on our website. Google Tag Manager itself does not create user profiles, does not store cookies containing user data and does not carry out any independent analyses. However, it does record your IP address, which may also be transferred to Google's parent company in the USA.

The container ID is GTM-5M9L6Z2B. The legal basis is exclusively your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and Section 25 (1) TDDDG. Google Tag Manager is not loaded without your consent.

Further information can be found in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

6. Pitch form

You can submit your project idea to us for review using the form under "Submit pitch". In doing so, we process the details you enter:

  • Contact details: name, email address, telephone number, company
  • Project details: project name, description of the idea, type of application, existing prototype, target group, main problem, competitors, industry
  • Framework conditions: planned start, budget range, preferred form of collaboration, special requirements
  • Request for a non-disclosure agreement (NDA)

The information is used exclusively to process your enquiry and to prepare for possible collaboration. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (implementation of pre-contractual measures) and the consent you give in the form pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

Submissions are stored on our own server within Germany. They are not transferred to third parties. We delete the data as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose, but no later than 24 months after the review has been completed, unless statutory retention obligations or a contractual relationship prevent this.

To protect against automated submissions, the form contains a mandatory field that is invisible to you (honeypot). No additional personal data is collected and no data is transmitted to third parties.

7. Fonts

This website uses the fonts Inter, Sora, JetBrains Mono and Space Grotesk. The font files are downloaded when the website is built and delivered from our own server. When you access the site, no connection is therefore established to Google servers and no data is transferred to Google.

8. External links

This website links to external platforms, including LinkedIn and other services operated by AXISPORT UG. When you click on these links, you leave this website. From that point on, only the privacy policies of the respective provider apply. We have no influence on their data processing.

9. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser's address bar changes from "http://" to "https://". When encryption is active, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

10. Your rights

You have the right at any time to obtain information free of charge about the origin, recipients and purpose of your stored personal data, as well as a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability (Art. 15 to 20 GDPR).

You also have the right to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). You may withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future.

Irrespective of this, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement (Art. 77 GDPR). The competent supervisory authority for the controller is the Unabhängiges Landeszentrum für Datenschutz Schleswig-Holstein, Holstenstraße 98, 24103 Kiel, Germany.
